Amid 'Adani Modi bhai bhai’ slogans, PM Modi targets Gandhis, Nehru and Indira

Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded to the motion of thanks on the President's Address in the Rajya Sabha on February 9. The Prime Minister aimed his arrows at the Congress, accusing it of impeding the country's development for more than four decades. Even as he spoke, the opposition continued to chant in the House, demanding a JPC on the Hindenburg-Adani dispute. He went on to say that after the BJP took power in 2014, tribals, women, and small farmers gained a voice. India's defence sector exports have surpassed Rs 1 lakh crore, with new companies entering the market to help the country become 'Atmanirbhar,' according to PM Modi. Underscoring the importance of self-reliance in the defence sector, the prime minister stated that the government has collaborated with this mission in this sector to the point where the country is now exporting equipment worth nearly Rs 1 lakh crore. "If the Congress had worked hard for tribals, we would not have had to work so hard for their welfare," Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in Rajya Sabha in response to a Motion of Thanks to the President's address. "If they (Congress) had done some work instead of playing with tribal sentiments, we would not have had to work as hard," he said. PM Modi stated in Rajya Sabha that Indira Gandhi dismissed state governments 50 times.
