বিশ্বের সব থেকে বড় বেগুনি–গোলাপি রঙের হীরা ২ কোটি ৬০ লাখ ডলারে বিক্রি 13Nov.20|| Pink Diamond

ডিমের মত নিখুঁত একটি হিরা, নাম দ্য স্পিরিট অফ দ্য রোজ। ১৪ দশমিক ‌৮ ক্যারেটের বেগুনি–গোলাপি রঙের এই হিরাটি বিশ্বের সব থেকে বড় হিরা। আর এটি ২ কোটি ৬০ লাখ ডলারে নিলামে বিক্রি হলো। হিরাটিকে বর্ণনা করা হয়েছে প্রকৃতির অসামান্য বিস্ময় বলে। মাসুদ রানার ডেস্ক রিপোর্ট।

ভেতর থেকে হিরেটির বেগুনি আলোর ঝলকানিতে যে কেউ মুগ্ধ হবে। ২০১৭ সালের জুলাই মাসে রুশ হিরা সংস্থা আলরোসা খননের পর এই হিরাটি পাওয়া যায়। রাশিয়ায় পাওয়া সব থেকে বড় গোলাপি স্ফটিক থেকে এটি কেটে বের করা হয়। এটিই সারাবিশ্বে এখন পাওয়া পর্যন্ত সবচেয়ে বড় গোলাপি হিরা। প্রায় ৯৯ শতাংশ গোলাপি হিরাই ১০ ক্যারেটের হয়। তবে এই গোলাপি হিরাটির ওজন ১৪ দশমিক ‌৮ ক্যারেট।
বিশ্বের দুর্মূল্য রঙিন পাথরের অনুরাগী রয়েছেন অনেকেই। সেরা গুণমানের গোলাপি হিরা অত্যন্ত মূল্যবান সম্পদ। আর এই হিরার দিকে নজর ছিল বিশ্বের অনেক বিওবানদের। তাইতো দুর্মূল্য হিরাটি সদবি নিলাম ঘর ২৬ দশমিক ৬ মিলিয়ন সুইস ফ্রাঁ বা ২ কোটি ৬০ লাখ ডলারে নিলামে বিক্রি করেছে বলে জানিয়েছে।
নিলামকারীরা জানিয়েছেন, এই হিরার দাম রেকর্ড সৃষ্টি করেছে। তবে এখনও পর্যন্ত হিরেটির ক্রেতার নাম জানানো হয়নি। ‌
