In this video I go through the process of taking a hand me down trailer that needed a little TLC and turned it into my dream RC Airplane hauler on a budget. I walk through the process of essentially starting with a skeleton and painted it, put some makeshift flooring/rubber matting down, installed E-track shelving hardware and built shelves for my airplanes to sit on. Installed a DIY power system, with A/C and D/C capabilities. There is an A/C port on the outside of my trailer to provide power via an extension cord from an RV hookup or a generator and a 12V car battery for the D/C system which will power my lights and basic functions when I do not have access to power.

All power system accessories, and lights were purchased on Amazon for approximately $200.

E-track, extension cords, and power strip were purchased from Harbor Freight Tools for approximately $130.

Lumber, rubber flooring mat, power box were purchased from Home Depot for approximately $300.

All other accessories and paint was sourced from my house at no cost.

Total Cost: Approximately $630
