Its a love it or hate it thing. But its good practice. What was added is a drum track, OPL noise cymbals, OPL instruments and some stereo mixing. The details, this song had some odd tempo swing that took some time to figure out to keep everything in sync. Its 94bpm... on average d;D
The biggest trouble was making the added OPL sound like it sorta matched up with the rest of the song, which is a yes it sounds right but kinda a no it does not. If you squint hard enough it sounds good.:D That OPL stuffs a different beast but fun if your into such things.
Havent been able to play the game yet, not much time, but how this got started is i seen a flame zapper vid from TunesDroid and liked it. But when i went to download the OST i downloaded the OPN version not the OPNA version that i heard. They sound different but i like the OPN version better. Sounds more whimsical. Wanted to hear some drums in the songs though and that started the process of making this one off version. Hope you like it, it was another learning experience for me. Enjoy.
