De Koog is one of the most popular cities on Texel. Texel is an island right off the coast of The Netherlands. De Koog is super popular in the summer. Obviously this was filmed in the winter... but in the summer, this town is packed with lots of people! Downtown De Koog is only a 10-minute walk away from the beach.

Texel island has beautiful beaches stretching miles and miles. Perfect for extra long walks on the beach. The dunes also have great trails perfect for walks.

DE KOOG HOTEL RECOMMENDATION
If you're looking for a great Texel accommodation, Strandhotel Noordzee is one of the best especially location-wise. Can't beat the easy beach access and amazing views of the North Sea!
