Genre Talk: Rhetorical Analysis

As an Instructor of English, I know how intimidating receiving a new assignment sheet can be, particularly if you've never written in a specific genre before. In the Genre Talk series, I'll provide a brief overview and some tips about writing in different genres. Here, I talk about writing a rhetorical analysis, and I analyze a speech by an excellent orator-- Albus Dumbledore.

These are mostly for my English 101 students-- hi, guys!-- but if you're new to academic writing, you might find them helpful.
