The fourth edition of Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0 kicks off today with the theme “Let Us Learn Tamil — Tamil Karkalam.” For the first time, Tamil will be taught in schools across Varanasi under the Tamil Karpom initiative, with 300 students heading on study tours to learn the language. The Agastya Vehicle Expedition traces the cultural route from Tenkasi to Kashi. This edition strengthens the civilisational ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, culminating in a valedictory event in Rameswaram.
