Hey guys, Kevin here with etrailer and today we're going to be taking a look at the Everchill RV refrigerator. This line of refrigerators comes with a nice black glass front so you have a nice sleek look to match the aesthetics of your trailer. And it opens from the left on this specific model by pressing on these buttons. It does come with a little travel lock so that you can make sure that your doors aren't gonna open as you're traveling down the highway. But you can also get this with a left hand swing. So this one right now, where it swings out to the right is a right hand swing.

If it was gonna swing open to the left it would be your left hand swing and that's pretty important because you don't want to end up having an issue where you can't get your fridge to open. Especially right here. If we had a left hand swing it would probably hit this trim piece on our slide out before actually fully opening. And on top of that, there is also the dual swing which is gonna have buttons on both sides. I'll show you that button right here.

So it's real easy to press in. Just got that little knob right there that's going to click into place and hold it into the travel lock when not in use. Makes it super easy to open and close your refrigerator. This line of RV refrigerators is going to run off a 12 volt DC power which is the battery for your trailer. Instead of a standard refrigerator that's gonna run off of AC power, which would require you to be hooked up to shore power or running off of propane.

And what that means is that you're gonna have the ability to run your refrigerator as you're traveling to keep all of your food nice and cold or if you plan on making any off-grid camping trips. If you plan on boondocking this is definitely one of the more popular models. It's going to allow you to easily keep that refrigerator running on such a small power source. It's going to have three refrigerator shelves that can be adjusted. As you can see, we have extra spots for you to link into if you need to move those shelves around to kind of fit whatever you're needing to store in there.

It's also gonna have two door compartments and one crisper. So our door compartments are these shelves right here which are also adjustable. And then we have our crisper down here which will also allow you to control the humidity by easily sliding this little latch back and forth. Inside of our freezer we're gonna have two door compartments and then we'll have one shelf. It also can be adjusted. And while we're in here we'll talk about our temperature control. So if you look right here at the back you can easily slide the little lever right here back and forth to either the maximum or the minimum on the temperature setting. And down in our refrigerator it's gonna have a similar system. If you look right here, we have our temperature setting with 1 being our lowest and 5 being our highest. And you can easily set that by just clicking that button right there that says set. And if you look at it it's gonna tell you the input voltage. So if we look at number two right here it's gonna be pulling 10 volts. So that's nice to kind of have a good idea whenever you're trying to plan a boondocking trip so that you can see, hey, I know I need to leave my fridge at 3 so I know it's gonna be pulling 11 volts. And then you can kind of get a good guess at how much power your fridge is gonna pull during an entire day. Our fridge is going to be able to cool down within one hour after it's powered on so you don't have to wait a super long time. You don't have to plug your camper in overnight just to get that fridge up to temp. That is something that a lot of older fridges do have some issues
