What You Need to Know About Traveling With A Hearing Aid or Cochlear Implant

Presented by the Hearing Loss Association of America, Mission Viejo Chapter. We serve Orange County. Formerly, we were known as The Hearing Well Club of Laguna Woods.

Bringing hope to hearing loss.

OUR MISSION: To maximize our hearing so we can stay connected to family and friends and enjoy activities to the fullest.

Hearing loss ranges from having difficulty understanding or hearing certain sounds to total deafness.
We schedule various educational programs that benefit people with hearing loss, their friends, family, and those interested in hearing issues.

The HLAA Mission Viejo Chapter is self-supported by your donations. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit. If you enjoyed and benefited from this program, please consider a donation of any amount. Our guest speakers come from the hearing loss community; most are goods and services providers. No goods or services are available for purchase at the meetings. The HLAA Mission Viejo Chapter does not endorse any provider, product, or service. We provide information from various sources so that you can educate yourself to make the best decisions for you and your hearing loss.
We encourage you to mingle with other members to learn about their experiences and coping strategies. You will discover you are not alone with your hearing loss. Learn how to survive and thrive despite hearing loss.

The chapter meets monthly on the 2nd Monday, and doors open at 1:30 pm. Come for refreshments 30 minutes early to mix and mingle.
