For the first time ever on this channel, I'm uploading something that is not related to elevators. I would normally put content such as hotel room tours on my other channel, ‪@ElementExcursions-gz1mj‬, but since this building is tied so closely to the elevator community (as the place that inspired the first hobby-related elevator videos), I've decided to upload it here instead. I also have a full hotel tour and and several videos about the elevators here on the way.

Floors 42-47 are concierge level floors--on weekends, the rates for these rooms are significantly higher (often $1,000/night or higher). I was here on a Friday, and as it turns out, the concierge lounge is not open on Fridays or Saturdays. So, to anyone considering booking a concierge level room wanting to access the lounge--DO NOT book one on Friday or Saturday nights. On weeknights, the rates are significantly less expensive, and the concierge lounge is open then. That being said, I did not select a concierge level room when I made my booking--only a 1 king bed room with a city view, with a request for the highest available floor. After taxes, this room only cost me about $170/night.
