This video demonstrated how easy it is to perform routine maintenance on Shimadzu new single quadrupole spectrometer- LCMS2050. Maintenance of LCMS is very important to ensure that the instrument is always in good condition and hence producing accurate results consistently. As such, it is important to ensure that users have equipped with the necessary knowledge and skill to perform basic maintenance. LCMS2050 is designed to be easy maintained by user themselves. Besides demonstrating the maintenance process including ESI capillary & DL pipe replacement, and cleaning of ion guide, this video also showcased the fast vacuum start up of LCMS2050 after maintenance.
