Daily power cuts lasting up to 5 hours are common, impacting businesses significantly, especially the ice cream category.

Small shops, the main point of sale for Wall's ice cream, are returning freezers due to the inability to maintain the right temperature, leading to a 20% decrease in ice cream sales in 2023. The Solar Priceboard initiative aims to address these challenges by placing boards at shop entrances, preventing ice cream from melting and ensuring customer satisfaction, ultimately increasing customer retention and reducing freezer returns to Wall's.
