The Tocqueville Program for Inquiry into Religion and Public Life, the Potenziani Program in Constitutional Studies, the Dean's Fellows, and BridgeND were pleased to present "After Obergefell: The Future of Marriage, Gay Rights, and Religious Freedom" on February 9, 2016 on the campus of the University of Notre Dame.

Dr. Macedo, Princeton University, and Dr. Anderson, Heritage Foundation, debated in a Lincoln-Douglas format and took questions from the audience.

Both scholars have recently published books on marriage:
Dr. Macedo---Just Married: Same-Sex Couples, Monogamy, and the Future of Marriage
Dr. Anderson---Truth Overruled: The Future of Marriage and Religious Freedom
