Covid boredom... going through old songs and found this gem from a great band I was a co-founding member of "The Voices". "The Band that should have been" ... Once signed to a mega deal on MCA records 1988/89 (right after I quit :-) ). This song was written / recorded in San Diego when I rejoined the band around 1992/3... It was recorded at Paul Waroff's studio (by Eddie Offord / Yes - among other great bands) It's called "Fly Away" - I always loved this one...and when we played it live...it was big. Sometimes you don't know what you've had till it's gone... sounds like a song? :-) - Oh to go back knowing what we know now - and live more in the moment!?

Note: Photo shows Tommy Andrews - but he was no longer in the band at the time of writing and recording this song - I just don't have a photo of all of us who played on this song. I can't clearly remember - but believe Todd Hoffman was playing bass on this.
