JCECE stands for Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Exam. It is organized by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) for admission to B.Sc. Agriculture, B.V.Sc. & Animal Husbandry and BHMS. Candidates having domicile proof of being from Jharkhand are the only ones eligible to apply. The Government of Jharkhand has delegated the authority to the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) for conducting entrance tests and to facilitate the intakes to various Institutions within the state.

Through JCECE 2018 candidates can enrol and get admission to the following courses: B.tech, M.B.B.S, Agriculture & Animal Husbandry [B.V.Sc. & A.H.]. The JCECE 2018 is conducted for three different subject combinations as a prerequisite to apply for different undergraduate programmes viz (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) for Engineering, (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) for Medical, and (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology) for both Engineering and Medical aspirants.

It is one of the prestigious exams which gives significance in improving the quality of education for the people in the state of Jharkand
