Women's 10,000m Final | Munich 2022 | Yasemin Can

It was a night to remember for Yasemin Can on the first evening session at the European Athletics Championships 2022 in Munich.

Hot off her recent gold at the Commonwealth Games, Eilish McColgan and defending champion Lonah Salpeter came second and third respectively, but Can won in a time of 30:32.57.

Can, who finished fifth in Berlin, broke away late in the race to reclaim the 10,000m title she won in 2016.
