Directorate Of Elementary Education, Assam has published a notification regarding TET Assam Recruitment 2021 for Assam Lower Primary (LP) and Upper Primary (UP) Teachers Eligibility Test 2021.

The Candidates who are permanent residents of Assam and completed all eligibility criteria. They can Apply for TET Assam Recruitment 2021 Online Application form before the last date

TET Assam 2021 Details
Name of Exam: Lower Primary and Upper Primary Teachers Eligibility Test 2021

Exam Authority: Government of Assam

Duration of examination: 2 1/2 hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-I and 2 1/2 hours (150 Minutes) for Paper-II, Additional 20 minutes’ time (per hour) will be there for visually impaired candidates.

Minimum Marks for qualifying in TET: A candidate is required to score 60% i.e. 90 marks out of 150 to qualify for the Teachers’ Eligibility Test(TET). However. for SC/ST(P)&(H)/OBC/MOBC/PWD(PH) there will be a relaxation of 5%. Thus, for these candidates, qualifying marks will be 83 out of 150 i.e. 55%. There will be no negative marking.

Medium of question paper: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, English

Validity: The TET qualifying certificate for an appointment, unless otherwise notified by the appropriate Government, would remain valid for a lifetime from the date of issue of the certificate by the Empowered Committee, TET, Govt. of Assam.
