In this HubSpot tutorial, we will walk you through how to A/B test your marketing email in HubSpot.

An A/B test measures engagement for different versions of the same email with a sample of your recipients.

Let’s see how you can create an A/B test for marketing emails in HubSpot.

Steps to Follow :

Step 1. In your HubSpot account, navigate to Marketing and then Email.

Step 2. Click Create email.

Step 3. Create a custom email or from drag and drop

Step 4. Enter a name for the email.

Step 5. This email will be version A of your AB test.

Step 6. In the top left of the editor, click test Create AB test.

Step 7. In the dialog box, enter a name for version A and version B, then click OK.

Step 8. Use the slider to decide what percentage of contacts will receive Variation A and Variation B.

Step 9. Choose the winning matric

Step 10. Decide the test duration and click Create test.

Step 11. Now on the mail editor, on the left side, click the email name drop-down, and you will see the names of both emails.

Step 12. Click the email name to edit the variations.

Step 13. Once done, click Review and send.

Step 14. Click send to send you emails.

Step 15. Once the test duration is over, you can analyze the performance.

Step 16. Click the email name on the matrix page, and you can check the result under the test results tab.
