This aria from the first act of Adriana Lecouvreur Is sung here by the legendary Magda Olivero. She was chosen by the composer Francesco Cilea as the best protagonist for the role. Here is a stunning version, in excellent sound, taken from a concert given at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam in 1965.
