Laura Graves & The Antidote to Frustration

Laura describes the importance of remaining curious in our riding in order to successfully build our toolbox. She goes through the art of honoring our emotions and feelings as riders while keeping frustration at bay.

⭐ We must be students as well as teachers for our horse.
⭐ Curiosity keeps us inquisitive and also serves to build our toolbox as riders.
⭐ You want to have a play for handling and being aware of your own emotions in the saddle. Reacting to negative emotions is not a healthy way to ride.
⭐ Horses should also be able to express their emotions and feelings. This should not be met with an equally emotional reaction from the rider.
⭐ We want to encourage our horses to think and react to what we're asking, even if the answer isn't exactly correct on the first try.
