Geneva Pipe Webinar | Conquering Corrosion for Good with Lined Technologies for Sanitary Sewers

Описание к видео Geneva Pipe Webinar | Conquering Corrosion for Good with Lined Technologies for Sanitary Sewers

Accelerated by caustic hydrogen sulfide gases present in sanitary sewer systems, Microbiologically Influenced Concrete Corrosion (MICC) is a silent threat leading to the rapid decay of otherwise durable concrete manholes and wet wells. This webinar introduces cutting-edge, corrosion-resistant lined systems engineered by Geneva Pipe and Precast, a Northwest Pipe Company, to combat this pervasive problem—permanently.

This webinar explores three innovative technologies revolutionizing sanitary sewer construction and rehabilitation:

Perfect Lined Manhole System
A reinforced precast concrete manhole for new construction with an integrally cast corrosion-resistant liner. The liner prevents any MIC-induced corrosion in the manhole, providing a 100-year design life in sewer environments.

Hybrid PVC Manhole System
A permanent solution for rehabilitating sanitary sewer manholes or round lift stations. This system offers quick installation and uses a single riser, minimizing the number of joints and potential leaks. With this system, you can fully rehabilitate the bench, riser, and lid, and it can be used as a structural rehabilitation method for severely deteriorated manholes or lift stations.

Composite FRP Rehab Panels
A permanent solution for rehabilitating large square wastewater concrete wet wells and other structures. Mechanically mounted to an existing wall, the FRP Panels provide permanent protection from MICC in the structure. The panels can be installed without removing the structure’s lid, reducing the construction footprint of the jobsite.

In this technical presentation, our experts will delve into the versatile applications of these innovative solutions, examining the corrosion-resistant materials and presenting installation case studies. Learn how to use these products in projects where corrosion protection is required, or to efficiently rehabilitate corroded structures without full replacement.

You'll discover how our state-of-the-art lined systems can significantly extend the service life of critical wastewater infrastructure, offering permanent protection against corrosion and ensuring reliable performance for decades to come.
