Are Generic Sponges as Good as PanPastel Sofft Sponges?

I was shopping on Amazon and saw some sponge covers that looked similar to the Sofft tool sponges for PanPastels that I love so I decided to order a set to compare. the sponges for $7 for 40 vs $6.30 for 10 pan pastel sponge covers. Watch the video to see how they compare!

Arrgh, the pan pastel sponges are so much cheaper at Blick: https://shrsl.com/474qb I absolutely would go with the brand name sponge covers at Blick: https://shrsl.com/474qb they are still more expensive than the generics but not by much and I think the quality is worth it.
