Welcome! Thank you for joining us this afternoon for the 2020 Voices of South Africa International Opera Singing Competition Online supported with prizes by Old Mutual, the Senene Foundation, Opera for Peace, Oxford Opera and other incredible individual supporters. 

35 finalists have now been chosen from the past 7 weeks and each weekend you will hear some of them until they have all had a chance to present their arias. 

Today you will hear 8 incredibly singers. They will each present two arias in two parts.
