On hollow body style guitars, you will typically have a 'f' whole where you can, in theory, gain access to the electrics to clean them. However, this is a fair bit of guesswork as you can't fully see what you are doing. Instead, you simply pull the volume and tone knobs off and apply the cleaner directly to the guitar, as shown in the picture below: (See website).

As you spray the switch cleaner, don't forget to twist the part to work in the fluid. You then repeat the same process for all the knobs, as well as the pickup selector. Simple as that!
