Finally, another new fan acquired after a while! This is a Sogo 12" box fan with a rotating louver, one of the cheap fans sold in Indonesia. This fan was previously planned to be placed in my little sister’s room to replace the Maspion EX-2109 T’s job because I want to give it a rest after being used daily for years since it was new. But eventually, my little sister prefers the Maspion more in her room because it looks more solid, thanks to the mature color (and I agree with that too). So because of that, this Sogo is most likely going to be on my hands and it’ll be daily-abused too, like what I’ve done to my other fans, because I want to test its durability, how long it can survive from the daily abuse. I also did a little balancing to the propeller right after I took this video with a method shared by TFU in one of his videos, because it was vibrating quite badly as you can see from the blue louver. And it also has the defect-characteristics of cheap fans, as shown in the intro.

For the fan itself, the seller confirmed this fan was a 2023 stock at the store. Which means this fan is a NOS (New Old Stock) product, and I think that's valid because it has some dust on the propeller that is most likely caused by the long storage. Surprisingly, this fan blows quite good air for a cheap fan. I would say it's almost at the Maspion box fan airflow level!

Previously, I have ever videoed a Sogo box fan as in this video:    • 12" Sogo rotating louver box fan  . The one in that video looks like it has passed a few years, and the motor is surprisingly still runs fine although it has been slowed down (and the rotating louver motor no longer works too). Lastly, this is the only cheap box fan model that I liked the most among many cheap box fans available in the Indonesian market. It looks cute enough to my eyes!
