FLARE Moustache 18m Rainbow Beach Queensland Australia.

The tail end of my second season at Rainbow Beach on Moustache, and I'm in love with it more than ever. Will I ever get sick of flying like this, at a site like this? I don't know, but for now it's a big no.

Interesting to see over the season what size I flew there the most, it was by far the 18m. I do prefer to fly a smaller size like the 15m, but more often the wind conditions were below 17/18 knots and I ended up flying the 18m. Still great fun, but it does take a bit more finesse to keep in contact with the ground, especially on the upper limit.

The flying Paragliding/Flaring season at Rainbow Beach is September to February. The best months are October to December. This video was shot in late February, we still get flying days after Feb but they start to get fewer and far between. I haven't flown there for a couple of months and am starting to miss it badly.
