(6 Jun 2014) Images of wildlife and fauna were projected onto the exteriors of Chile's presidential palace on Thursday night in celebration of World Environment Day.
Spectators gathered outside of La Moneda Presidential Palace in the capital Santiago to enjoy the spectacle.
Chile's government organized the event to bring attention to the need to preserve the country's ecosystems and biodiversity.
Visitor Cesar Uribe said it was a good way for people to "get motivated to protect the environment."
World Environment Day is sponsored by the United Nations and observed globally through different events.
The theme for this year's World Environment Day was climate change and its implications for low-lying Small Islands Developing States (SIDS), which are badly affected by sea-level rise and natural disasters.
