We are sending a youth-led aid mission to provide support to Ukrainian families who have fled the Russian invasion and sought safe harbour in Israel. Those without friends or family in Israel are being temporarily housed in “absorption hotels”. Most vital educational and recreational activities for the children are being provided by an apparatus of overworked volunteers.

Our youth-led aid mission will consist of a delegation of six youth volunteers who will arrive in Israel to dedicate our time and energy to supporting this relief effort.

As a Jewish youth movement that educates its members towards the values of solidarity, equality and tikkun olam (repairing the world), Habonim Dror Australia considers this aid mission our humanitarian duty.

But we can't do it alone. We need your help to make this a reality by supporting us with the cost of flights, accommodation and equipment expenses for our volunteering activities.
