Setting up Filtration for my 450 litre tank, I used my 5 year old Eheim Canister Filters , the Classic 250 and 350, for my New Cichlid Tank. I think its better to have 2 anyway in case one fails. Both are set up to agitate the surface of the water for maximum oxygen transfer. The Video shows how I set it up. I had to replace the 12/16 mm hoses as they were all too short and has hardened over the years. In the process I snapped the outlet Nozzle of the 250 and demonstrated a quick solution to repair. (it hasn't leaked yet).
I searched online for new Eheim Filters , cant believe how much they charge so decided to get the generic at a fraction of the price from Amazon.
