I've been playing with the Joola Mod-TA 15 (14mm) for the past month. After being initially impressed by the paddle, I added a Slyce cap to the butt cap, which added an additional .70 ounces to the paddle (stock butt cap is .3 oz). For me, the added weight to the bottom did wonders in how the paddle handles, and now it feels like a 16mm paddle, while still capturing all of the advantages that a 14mm paddle has to offer.
