Re-adjusting / Resetting the Idle Air Control / IAC valve on the Toyota 22RE motor in 89-95 Pickup

** UPDATE: 3.5 to 3.75 TURNS WORKS BEST. I tested 5.0 and 4.5 turns and 4.0 turns (counter clockwise from fully seated); also tested 3.0 turns. 3.0 turns seems to result in the motor having some difficulty idling when cold. 4.0 turns works better, but occasionally when the motor is warm (such as stopping at a store, then restarting again 20-30 minutes later, but still warm) 4.0 turns will result in some erratic idling due to going too lean w/ the AF mixture. A setting around 3.5 to perhaps 3.75 turns CCW from fully in seems to be the sweet pot. I'm currently (as of 9-13-2024) running at 3.5 turns and will update here should I make any further changes. Please note: I'm also running my base timing at 7 degrees vs. the factory 5 BTDC and currently have my idle set to around 750 RPM's despite having a slightly mild performance camshaft (which makes idling under 950-1000 RPM's a bit less smooth as compared to running a stock camshaft).
