... I still don't have a proper list of rules ready, but here's a placeholder.
In this "Pseudo Nuzlocke", we don't lose the challenge if we lose a battle. We can get a new encounter for each area represented by a party member that's been lost, but only after blacking out. The starter Pokémon can be revived in the case of having no other 'mons in the PC to continue with. Once a Pokémon is on the team, the only way it leaves the team is by being defeated. Thus the only way for new 'mons to be added is to replace fallen team members. (This is all badly explained here, but hopefully it'll all become clear.)
