Protesting farmers, undeterred by clashes with police at the Punjab-Haryana border, resumed their march toward Delhi on Wednesday after declaring an overnight "ceasefire" following a tumultuous day marked by tear gas, water cannons, and clashes with police.

Hundreds of tractor trolleys were seen lined up at Shambhu on the Punjab-Haryana border as farmers continued their 'Delhi Chalo' march, despite a huge security deployment, concrete barricading and dug-up roads to impede their advance.
