Good Friday Message from Dr. Brown

This will undoubtedly be one of the most unique Easter celebrations any of us have ever experienced. Nevertheless, the truth of our celebration remains. Christ “gave himself for us that he might redeem us from all iniquity and purify for himself a people of his own who are zealous for good deeds” (Titus 2:14 NRSV).

This Holy Week, I hope you feel encouraged. I equally hope you feel moved to encourage a friend, neighbor, loved one or stranger. To “build” one another. Whatever our present circumstance, may we find ourselves in the Easter narrative and Kingdom reality of God’s larger story. Moreover, may we encourage one another with this holy script.
