Holmes was sent from the Pirates to the Yankees last July in exchange for Diego Castillo and Hoy Park. He agreed to a one-year, $1.1 million contract with the Yankees last March and it'd become a huge bargain for the Yankees.

With Aroldis Chapman (Achilles) and Chad Green (elbow) on the injured list, Holmes has been the closer of the Yankees. He has proven he deserves the role to close the game.

He posts 4 wins, 9 saves, 7 holds, 0.31 ERA, and 0.66 WHIP now.
