When a Tesla Model 3 experiences a collision and the electric motor is damaged, the bushing that helps hold the electric motor in place may be damaged and will need to be replaced. This bushing tool is specifically designed for removing an old bushing on Tesla Model 3 electric motor, and for installing a new one.

Just like regular bushing tools, when fastening the two cups on the two ends of the bushing housing, one cup will gradually push the bushing out, while the other cup will receive the bushing when it's pushed out. The receiving cup is designed with a special side cutout in order to fit the shape of the electric motor on Tesla Model 3.
