A loop of the SWA crawl followed by an IS2 Jr LF. A line of potentially strong thunderstorms have been moving up the Coast Range late this evening. For the most part, these storms have stayed below severe limits, however the NWS has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for these strong cells which have been producing accumulating hail.


...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHEASTERN CLATSOP... NORTHERN TILLAMOOK... NORTH CENTRAL YAMHILL... WASHINGTON AND SOUTHWESTERN COLUMBIA COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 PM PDT...

AT 1046 PM PDT... TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING FROM 6 MILES SOUTHWEST OF HILLSBORO TO NEAR FOREST GROVE TO 10 MILES SOUTHEAST OF TRASK... AND MOVING NORTHWEST AT 30 MPH.

PEA SIZE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 35 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THESE STORMS.

HILLSBORO... VERNONIA... FOREST GROVE... BANKS... ROCKAWAY BEACH... LEES CAMP... TRASK... CORNELIUS... NORTH PLAINS... GASTON... WHEELER... NEHALEM... MOHLER... PITTSBURG... SALMONBERRY... SUNSET SUMMIT... MANNING... GLENWOOD... GALES CREEK AND CHERRY GROVE.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS IN OREGON...
U.S. HIGHWAY 26 WEST OF PORTLAND BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 24 AND 60.
U.S. HIGHWAY 101 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 46 AND 49.
STATE HIGHWAY 6 BETWEEN MILE MARKERS 3 AND 51.
