In this video, I will show you how to create a location extension for your Google Ads account.

Google Ads lets you add location extensions at the campaign and ad group levels. Location extensions show your business address, phone number, and other information (e.g. business hours and ratings) about your location.

1. Sign in to your Google Ads account.
2. Pick campaign
3. Click Ads & extensions in the page menu.
4. Click Extensions then click the plus icon.
5. In the type list, select Ad extensions and then location extensions.
6. Above the data view, click Add location extension.
7. Select one of the options in the drop-down menu: “Show ads with all locations,” “Show ads with locations matching filter” and “Show ads with selected locations.” and pick location from GoogleMyBusiness
8. Follow the prompts to add the specific chain locations where your products or services are sold.
9. Click Save.

NOTE: Keep in mind that chain locations update automatically as stores open, move, or close; while updates to locations in Google My Business may take up to a day to reflect in your Google Ads account.
