Are you the style of communicator that speaks to the people, rather than speak with people. Do you talk at people?

Do you say any of the following?
1️⃣. You should do this.
2️⃣ You need to do that.
3️⃣. Why don't you do this?
4️⃣ Do this, Do that
5️⃣. I want to Tell you
6️⃣. Can I tell you

➡️ The listener may perceive you are telling them what to do, almost like be yelled at, feel stupid, one of the big one is not feeling heard and a range of other feelings.

✳️ To be a respectful communicator. It's about evoking thought.
☝🏻 Ask Questions
1️⃣. Have you got clarity?
2️⃣ Have you thought about a solution?
3️⃣ Do you have a solution?
4️⃣. Do you know what you're going to do?
5️⃣. Is there anything I can do to assist you?
6️⃣. How can I support you?

The more questions you ask the more you learn about the person and their situation and circumstances.

STOP TELLING AND START ASKING!
