To celebrate St. Patrick's Day I share this Irish Blessing with you 🍀 May the road rise up to meet you, and may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, may the rains fall soft upon your fields and until we meet again may God hold you in the palm of His hand!

Saint Patrick's Day is a day that remembers the legendary St. Patrick! It is believed that Patrick was born in Britain sometime in the late 4th century. It is told that at the young age of sixteen, Patty was kidnapped by Irish raiders and then taken as a slave to Gaelic Ireland. There he spent six years working as a shepherd - and it was during that time, in the fields of Ireland that he found God. It is said that in a dream the Lord told Patrick to flee to the coast where a ship would take him home.... After those events unfolded Patrick went on to become a priest.

Eventually Patrick returned to Ireland with a burning desire to convert the pagan Irish to Christianity. He spent many years in the northern parts of Ireland and converted thousands to a saving faith in Jesus!

So as we celebrate St. Patrick's day - may the Lord bless you and keep you!
