While checking out all the options I came across this one which was both a radar and a dash camera in one, plus I was getting a lot of false alerts on my previous radar detector so it was definitely time to upgrade. I have had it in my car for about three days and the GPS feature works quite well and the Installation was simple since I had my old radar installed and luckily the plugs were the same, I just had to use the mount that came with the Cobra. I have to admit I was concerned with the setup since my last one didn't need an app, but after downloading them it was so easy. I spent five minutes going through all the options and really liked the fact that I could change the color to match my dash lights (sounds silly but it makes me happy). Another nice feature I didn't know it had was the ability to update the unit while in my garage. I saw the option to connect to WiFi so I did and all of a sudden there was an update needed and with a push of a button it updated. The dash camera is also simple to setup using the app and the picture quality is amazing even at night, I just hope I never have to use it.
