In episode 85, we're continuing our Fighters Guild grind and taking on "Unfinished Business"—a quest where we have to track down Maglir, a wood elf who apparently decided his contract wasn't worth the effort. So naturally, we get stuck finishing his job for him at Fallen Rock Cave. We also squeeze in an Oblivion Gate closure and deliver some Jumbo Potatoes along the way.

We set out to try and get our Blade Training quest taken care of, so we head to a closed Oblivion Gate and then make our way over to Faregyl Inn. When we get there, we go see Alix Lencolia. He's surprisingly really cool with training us, but he doesn't know more than we do, so it's a bit of a waste other than making sure it's no longer on our quest log.

In the inn, we happen to talk to S'jirra, and she's looking for Jumbo Potatoes. And it looks like we've already found what this lady needs! So she gives us some Potato Bread in exchange for the potatoes, and we go on our way.

After that, we check out our quest log and decide to keep working on Fighters Guild quests in Chorrol. We first talk to Modryn Oreyn, who tells us we should try talking to Vilena Donton... Then when we go talk to her, she says we're supposed to be reporting to Modryn... UGH! So we go back to him, and he lets us know that he does in fact have some work for us.

There's another guild member who looks like he might've left a contract unfinished, so we have to check in with him to see what's up. Our next destination is Skingrad, where we meet up with Maglir. After talking to him, he lets us know that the job wasn't worth the money, so he just didn't do it. So he gives us the contract…

While in the inn, we grab a Weak Elixir of Exploration from Sinderion and then give him 20 more Nirnroot. He then requests 30 more Nirnroot for a stronger elixir, so we agree to come back. We leave there and head over to Fallen Rock Cave to try and finish the contract for Maglir.

Inside the cave, we interact with some Wraiths and zombies, but nothing too challenging. After some time, we stumble upon the journal of Brenus Astis, thus completing the contract. Time to let Maglir know! But first, there's a nearby Oblivion Gate that we spend a small amount of time running through. Well, at least, that's what the plan was going in. It takes us a bit longer than we had originally planned…

But once it's been closed, we talk to Maglir and let him know we're done. We decide to be nice to a fellow guild member and let him know that we won't tell Modryn that he defaulted and left us to complete the contract.
