I played through Mouthwashing about a month ago and knew immediately I wanted to make a song for it. I decided to go for something that mixed the feeling of industrial with a lot of sound effects, big bass, and buzzing, like you’re inside a spaceship, and retro to match the game’s visual aesthetics. I also added in a bongo because it felt a little silly and the game definitely had that absurdist edge to it.
I was also told doing a Jimmy song was a little crazy, a little wild, but what am I if not a person who writes songs for villains? Don't worry, if it makes you upset, you can drink some mouthwash to get rid of all those bad feelings!
