ParaGlise | Dune du Pilat Paragliding 2023 Season Opening

One year after the forest fires at Dune du Pilat. The impressions were taken beginning of May 2023, still - the scenery around the south end of the dune looks quite horrible compared to what I am used to. My favorite camp ground (panorama) completely vanished - the whole infrastructure - all gone, except one bathroom building. The dense pine tree cover, giving shade to the caravans and vans - it’s simply gone - just black pine trunks left.
