LONDON, Saturday 31st October, All Hallows Eve and the date noted as the point at which the Government’s Furlough Scheme ended, the culmination of a series of musical theatre flash mobs in central London, performed by members of West End Waiting.
Lee Durnford, West End Waiting's founder and director, introduces the Grand Finale and receives a deserved ovation at the end of the performance attended by almost 200 extraordinarily talented singers who travelled in from all over the UK to show their remarkable commitment to the cause… despite the persistent rain and Storm Aiden! Conducted once again by the legend that is Steve Moss, musical director of Les Mis & Mary Poppins in the West End, and conductor of many other West End and touring shows, who also conceived and produced our medley of West End classics. Once again, to everyone who took part all this week.
