The Jaz Little Venice Golf Resort, Cairo, a place that promised luxury and elegance, but delivered only despair and heartache. I still remember the day I walked into that resort, full of hope and excitement, only to be met with a nightmare that would haunt me for the rest of my life.

As I stepped into my room, I was immediately struck by the eerie feeling that something was off. The decor was outdated, the furniture creaky, and the carpet, oh, the carpet, was stained and worn out. It was like they had taken all the worst parts of the 90s and 00s and mashed them together into a mess of a room. I felt like I was trapped in a time warp, and not in a good way.

But, I thought to myself, maybe the room is just a minor issue, maybe the rest of the resort would make up for it. Oh, how wrong I was. The beach, which was supposed to be the crowning jewel of the resort, was a disaster. There was only one toilet and one shower, both of which were not clean. I mean, who does that? It was like they expected us to rough it like we were at some sort of wilderness survival camp. And the foot washing station? Forget about it. It was just a gardening hose. A gardening hose! Can you believe it? I felt like I was in some sort of bad joke.

And then, there was the food. Oh, the food. It was like they had taken all the worst leftovers from the previous week and thrown them together into a mess of a buffet. The meat was clearly frozen, the salads were wilted, and don't even get me started on the desserts. I mean, who serves stale cake? It was like they were trying to torture us.

But, you know what the worst part was? The staff. They were so unhelpful, so untrained, so completely and utterly useless. They seemed like they would rather be anywhere else, doing anything else, than actually helping us. It was like they were allergic to customer service.
