Israel is preparing to send more troops to its Northern border, in a seeming shift of focus from its war in Gaza. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly planning to increase troop deployments along the Lebanon border, as tensions with Hezbollah remain high. Israel has increased attacks on Hezbollah in recent weeks, killing senior Hezbollah commanders. In response, Hezbollah has fired missiles and drones towards Israel, triggering fears of a wider conflict in the region. This back and forth has resulted in the evacuation of citizens on both sides. More than 60,000 Israelis have been relocated to safer regions, and more than 90,000 in Lebanon have been moved to safety. These latest developments have sparked fears within the international community- with the United Nations stating that the world cannot "afford Lebanon to become another Gaza".
