Adani-Hindenburg Issue: Supreme Court Sets Up Expert Committee, Asks Sebi For Probe

On March 2, The Supreme Court set up an expert committee headed by retired Justice A M Sapre to look into the issue arising out of the Hindenburg report. The apex court made the decision while hearing a batch of petitions pertaining to the Hindenburg report. The Supreme Court asked Sebi to also examine if there was a violation of market regulations, short-selling norms, or stock price manipulation.
