Powys County Council is always seeking to improve the way it communicates with the people of Powys, with up to date information and advice that is easily accessible for all.

Across Wales, around 530,000 people are deaf or hard of hearing, and the council would like to support people who are deaf by providing key information through BSL across our website and media channels.

We want to make sure that deaf and deafblind people have the same opportunities as everyone else, and the same access to education, employment and services.
