SONY A7IV + 50MM F1.8 VERSION 03 | Auto Focus Test

Hello EPIC people,

In this video, I demonstrate the autofocus performance of the Sony FE 50mm f1.8 lens paired with the Sony A7IV. This lens was known to be the lens that was not reliable on autofocus. But how will this lens perform paired with the Sony A7IV?

I used different settings on the Sony A7IV (AF Track Sensitivity and AF Drive Speed) to see how they will affect the autofocus performance.

I personally think that the Sony 50mm f1.8 is an awesome lens when used with the Sony A7IV. The fact that the newer Sony menu allows us to choose more precise increments in the AF setting, the lens performs very well. Unfortunately, if you are looking at this lens for shooting videos, the focus motor sound could be a problem.
